But, since boredom is an easy friend, I committed to realising these "Operette immorali" (in contrast with poet G. Leopardi's "Operette morali", or "Moral compositions") since - yes - life is made of profound reflections and idealized beauty, but it also (and above all) consists of ruthlessly sincere thoughts, vulgar facts, prosaic wisdom.
